Main item's features: design on both sides, square corners and placeholder data already present as shown in the image on the left. Photograph is printed on photographic paper and glued on the ID card.

Main item's description: ID card issued by the Department of Defense (DOD) to retired personnel of the US Armed Forces and other Uniformed Services for benefits and memento purposes during the 1980s-1990s.

Remarks: the main item replaces the the branch specific variations of the "DD form 2(RET), 1959 Edition" issued by the USA, USAF, USMC, USN, USCG to their personnel until then.
