Advanced customization options

Advanced customization options allow you to customize an item beyond the reach of the regular "customization" option: when ordering it (as appears on an item's webpage), you can typically provide your own information so as the placeholder data already contained in the main item can be replaced by the ones of your choice.
Regular "customization" though, does not include any further editing of the main item's design or of any image(s) provided by the customer. Advanced customization options enable you to do just that. You can find below a list and explanation of the ones currently available.

Please notice that the information displayed in the pictures below is fictitious; the stock photograph of the individual pictured below is freely available online. Make sure to read the dedicated section of our TOS on advanced customization options as they are subject to specific provisions.

DESIGN EDITING

Description: by ordering this option, you can request a design change on the main item being ordered.

Availability: this option can be ordered only if a main item has been ordered or a "totally custom item" has been already designed.

Price: FREE / variable
If the editing is possible and minor, it will be performed free of charge. Otherwise, the design editing it is subject to an extra fee whose actual value depends by the specific editing requested.

If you would like to get an exact figure, please contact us with a description of the editing required. If you have a reference photo, feel free to provide it.

Examples of different photo editings
PHOTO EDITING

Description: by ordering this option, you can request one or more of the following editing in the photograph provided for customization:
  • Digital enhancement: digitally enhances the person's face in a photo. The enhancing creates a higher resolution version of photographs too low in resolution an/or too blurry and/or too grainy and whose editing exceeds the normal touch-up performed by us as part of the regular "customization" option.
  • Name board addition: adds a name board at the bottom of a photo with custom information on it.
  • Background change: replaces the background of a photo with a solid color or a different design altogether.
  • Clothes' change: replaces the clothes worn by the person in a photo.
  • Photo restoration: restores a damaged photo or removes objects from it (E.G.: removing scratches) in cases in which this exceeds the normal touch-up performed by us as part of the regular "customization" option.
By ordering this option you also get a free digital copy of your edited photograph.

Availability: this option can be ordered alone, without the need of ordering regular "customization" option or an item at all.

Price: FREE / variable
The background change only will be performed free of charge only if the photograph meets the following requirements:
1. Photo has a good resolution, is not blurred or grainy.
2. Photo is taken against a solid color background (E.G.: photo taken in a photo booth).
3. The photo background has a good contrast with the edges of the person's shilouette.
Otherwise, photo editing is subject to an extra fee whose actual value depends by the nature of the specific editing requested and by the photograph's quality.

If you would like to get an exact figure, please contact us with a description of the editing required and with a copy of the photograph on which the editing has to be performed.

Customers receive a free digital copy of their edited photograph. Saving and providing this photo on any other order(s) does not incur in any extra fee.

Depiction of signature replication
SIGNATURE REPLICATION

Description: by ordering this option, you can request a replication of a specific signature which may be too low resolution and would likely result in sub-standard quality on the manufactured item.
Signature replication is available for signatures for which a reference picture is already available. Please contact us with the indication of the signature you would like to see replicated so as we can check availability. If not available, a reference picture is needed in order to perform the replication.

Availability: this option can be ordered only if a main item has been ordered.

Price: 20,00 EUR
