Main item: USA CID credentials, 1970s

Main item's material: cardstock

Main item's features: design on front only, square corners and placeholder data already present as shown in the image on the left. Photograph is printed on photographic paper and glued on the credentials.

Main item's description: credentials issued by the US Army Criminal Investigation Division to its active, retired and separated, both investigative and management, personnel during the 1970s.

Remarks: "retired" credentials bear the word "RETIRED" while "separated" credentials bear the word "VOID" printed in black dots. The difference among the series of "retired" credentials consist in the different appearance of the "RETIRED" word. The difference between "type 1" and "type 2" credentials for "investigative personnel" consist in the apposition/lack of the name of issuing authority below the issuing authority's signature line. The main differences among this item and the other USA CID credentials of similar design consist a slightly different appearance for the verbiage in the credentials of each decade, along with other more noticeable differences in the font used for personal information and certain design elements in the top card (see picture on the left for comparison).
