Main item's features: design on both sides, square or rounded corners and placeholder data already present as shown in the image on the left. "1940s, RAF" and "1940s, WAAF" ID cards are folded at the center.

Main item's description: ID card issued by the Royal Air Force (RAF) or the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) to active and reserve personnel for identification and access purposes during the 1940s-1960s (including throughout the WW2).

Remarks: the main differences among the available series of the "1940s, RAF and WAAF" ID cards consist in different fonts being used for th design of the card (see picture on the left for a comparison). "1940s, RAF", "1940s, RAF and WAAF, Series 1" and "1940s, RAF and WAAF, Series 2" come free of any placeholder data, as even card numbers were normally hand written directly on the ID card. On the remaining variations of the main item, with the exception of the "1960s" ID card which comes with placeholder data as shown, information other than the card number was normally hand written; therefore we've decided to offer this item blank with no placeholder data other than the card number, so as you are free to order it blank or customize it by yourself as needed. We've also decided to offer FREE CUSTOMIZATION for the customization of the card number alone. Our "customization" option remains available for all variations of the main item to further customize them with a specific serial number and any other information for customization.
