Main item: US Navy ID card (N. Nav. 546), medical personnel, 1940s
Main item's material: cardstock Main item's features: design on one side only or both sides, square corners and placeholder data already present as shown in the image on the left. Photograph is printed directly on the ID card. Main item's description: ID card (N. Nav. 546) issued by the US Navy to its medical personnel during the WW2 (World War II) and throughout the 1940s for purposes of identification and access to installations. Remarks: the "Series 1" comes with its own backside while the other "Series" feature different front sides that can be matched with different backsides accoriding to preference. The "Front side, Series 6" cards design is available in 4 assortments ("Large edges, Type 1", "Large edges, Type 2", "Small edges", "No edges"), indicating the presence of a white border past the black outline of the ID card. "Large edges, Type 1" cards feature a white border that is more thicker horizontally than vertically, "Large edges, Type 2" cards feature a white border that is more thicker vertically than horizontally, "Small edges" cards feature a very thin white border of equal thickness both horizontally and vertically and "No edges" cards feature no white border and no black outline at all. Each of these assortments feature the same design which is available in 3 different thickness ("light", "regular", "bold"). "Type M" and "Type N" backsides feature a fingerprints table of fixed dimensions which is bigger than the overall dimensions of the "Series 2", "Series 5", Series 6, Small edges", "Series 6, No edges" cards and therefore will be cut out in height and/or width when appearing on these front sides. Adds "cold" lamination to your main item: the main item is wrapped in a clear plastic sheet; as such no laminating (clear) edges appear around the main item and lamination comes with straight corners. EYELETS
Adds up to 3 eyelets to your main item. If lamination is added (whether "cold" or "hot"), eyelets will pierce through it. Multiple configurations are available for the same quantity of eyelets applied on your main item.
