Main item: US Marine Corps ID card (NAVPERS 546), 1940s

Main item's material: cardstock

Main item's features: design on one side only or both sides, square or round corners and placeholder data already present as shown in the image on the left. Photograph is printed directly on the ID card.

Main item's description: ID card (Nav. Pers. 546 or NAVPERS 546) issued by the US Marine Corps to its personnel during the WW2 (World War II) and throughout the 1940s for purposes of identification and access to installations.

Remarks: the main item features different front sides that can be matched with different backsides accoriding to preference. The "Front side" design is available in 3 assortments ("Large edges", "Small edges", "No edges"), indicating the presence of a white border past the black outline of the ID card. "Large edges" cards feature a white border that is more thicker horizontally than vertically, "Small edges" cards feature a very thin white border of equal thickness both horizontally and vertically and "No edges" cards feature no white border and no black outline at all. Each of these assortments feature the same design which is available in 3 different thickness ("light", "regular", "bold") (see picture on the left for a comparison).

ROUND CORNERS

Adds round corners to your main item. Round corners are not available if "cold" lamination is also added to the same main item. Please consider that if round corners are added to "Small edges" cards, the black outline will be cut off the card's design due to the rounded corner.

LAMINATION

Adds lamination to your main item. Lamination is available in two versions
  • "Cold" lamination: the main item is wrapped in a clear plastic sheet; as such no laminating (clear) edges appear around the main item and lamination comes with straight corners. "Cold" lamination is not available if round corners are also added to the same item.

  • "Hot" lamination: the main item is laminated with the standard lamination method (hot lamination); as such laminating edges appear around the main item and the lamination comes with round corners.

EYELET

Adds 1 eyelet to your main item. If lamination is added (whether "cold" or "hot"), the eyelet will pierce through it. The eyelet appears centered below the photograph.
