Restriction policy for certain credentials and ID cards

Due to their nature, some items are subject to restrictions if ordered from USA. This page (and this page only) contains the complete restriction policy applicable to those items. Any change to the policy will be reported on this page and communicated via newsletter. For any question or doubt regarding the policy detailed below, do not hesitate to contact us.

Field of application: restriction notice

This policy applies only to certain credentials and ID cards: we take care to mark which items are subject to the following restrictions, by placing a restriction notice at the top of their webpages.

The restriction notice makes clear under which category an item falls ("modern era" items or similar to "modern era" items), so it is easier for you to find the applicable policy between those listed below.

See Fig. 1.1 and Fig. 1.2 on the right.

Restrictions apply only if the said items are shipped to USA or its posessions.

MOVIE PRODUCTION COMPANIES ARE EXEMPTED from such restrictions but they need to provide proper documentation.
If you are working for a movie production company, please contact us for more information regarding this point.

"Modern era" items

Definition: all items classified as "modern era" by their title (E.G.: NCIS credentials, modern era) or, exceptionally, expressly classified as such by the restriction notice.

Blank "modern era" items: can be shipped to USA or its possessions if stamped with "REPLICA" on the front side, as it is shown in Fig. 2.1 on the right. "REPLICA" writing is applied both if the item is filled with placeholder data or not.

Customized "modern era" items (or "customization for prop purposes"): can be shipped to USA or its possessions only if they are customized with the data of a well known character, belonging to a well known movie/TV series. Such items will not bear "REPLICA" writing all across the card, but a "prop replica notice" on backside to make clear it is a prop item.
Photo, name and signature (if available) of character are mandatory if customization is requried (E.G.: "modern era" NCIS credentials can be shipped to USA or its possessions if customized with Leroy Jethro Gibbs data, but they will have to bear at least Gibbs' photo, name and signature).

In order to be sure that you can get a "modern era" item with no "REPLICA" writing and customized with your favorite movie/TV series character's data, please contact us before ordering.

"Customization for prop purposes" is not allowed:
- if the character, despite beloning to a well known movie/TV series, is not well known;
- if the character belongs to a movie/TV series which is not well known;
- if it aims to customize a "modern era" item with an individual's data, even if partially (only name/only photo/etc...).

See Fig. 2.1 on the right.

Similar to "modern era" items

Definition: any item which has a graphic design similar to a "modern era" item (E.G.: FBI credentials, active duty personnel, '70 - '90, as they are very similar to FBI credentials, active duty personnel, modern era).

Blank similar to "modern era" items: if filled with placeholder data, they can be shipped to USA or its possessions without problem. No "REPLICA" writing will be applied on front side. Otherwhise, if items are requried to be made without placeholder data, "REPLICA" writing will be applied on front side, as it is shown in Fig. 2.2 on the right.

Customized similar to "modern era" items: can be shipped to USA or its possessions only if they are customized with the data of a well known character, belonging to a well known movie/TV series. Such items will not bear "REPLICA" writing all across the card, but a "prop replica notice" on backside to make clear it is a prop item.
Photo, name and signature (if available) of character are mandatory if customization is requried (E.G.: "'70-'90" FBI credentials can be shipped to USA or its possessions if customized with Fox Mulder data, but they will have to bear at least Mulder's photo, name and signature).

In order to be sure that you can get a similar to "modern era" item with no "REPLICA" writing and customized with your favorite movie/TV series character's data, please contact us before ordering.

Customization is also allowed to customize a similar to "modern era" item with data belonging to an individual who is not a movie/TV series character, but item will bear "REPLICA" writing on front side as shown in Fig. 2.2 on the right.
